dj....okay, here comes the incredible part. i had never heard of chuck russo before...our florist recommended him to us. he doesn't really advertise so i wasn't sure...i know i was happy with everything, but this is one area that i was thrilled with. he kept in touch with me throughout the entire year with song suggestions, i could e-mail him tunes from a song i had heard and he would get back to me with the artist and title...he used to be a dj on wdha (105.5) so he had a great voice for announcing. he wasn't flashy, no blow up things or leis...no line dances, etc. he didn't even have a sign or business card up letting people know who he was. he came to my house a few days before the wedding and we went over my list of songs that we did/did not want. he stuck to the entire list...i mean, song by song, i couldn't believe that he played everything i requested. i know most dj's tell you to give them 5 songs you do want and 5 songs you don't, but i gave him an entire play list! it was great! doug and i danced to "the best part" by joe wodarek (you can find it on wedalert.com) and chuck even ordered the cd from the internet so he would make sure he had it for us! i highly recommend this dj.

dear chuck, i can’t begin to tell you how much we loved you. i keep getting calls from my guests saying that they didn’t eat because you were playing such great songs. it was great to see the dance floor always crowded. that was one of my concerns because if you don’t have great music, what do you have? bretton woods told us that you would do a great job – and they were right! i’ve been telling everyone about you. thanks again for filling my daughter’s wedding with such great memories.
